Tired Henderson cops told to take naps

The department implemented the “restorative rest” program in January 2016 to allow tired officers take a quick nap while on duty to fuel a revival of mental awareness.

Henderson Historical Society lecture recounts Green Valley’s roots

Green Valley was the subject of a recent lecture in the Henderson Speaks series, put on by the Henderson Historical Society. The event explained Hank Greenspun’s efforts to acquire 8,400 acres of land and convince the city of Henderson to work to develop the area in the late 1970s.

Souvenirs from bygone Vegas era fill new exhibit

The Clark County Museum’s newest exhibit, “Bringing It Home: Souvenirs of the Strip: 1960-1980,” will feature 1,400 artifacts starting March 31.
