1 dead in west valley shooting

One person is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in the west valley, according to Las Vegas police.

Metro officers were called Saturday night to 1333 Kari Lee Court, near the intersection of Charleston and Rainbow boulevards, in response to a shooting, Metro spokesman Lt. Ken Romane said just before 9 p.m.

A male died in the shooting, Romane said. His age was not immediately available.

Homicide detectives arrived at the Kari Lee residence about 9:30 p.m., Romane said.
