1 hospitalized after east valley shooting
Metro’s gang unit was investigating an east valley shooting that hospitalized one on Saturday afternoon, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of Coleridge Way, near Sahara Avenue east of Nellis Boulevard about 12:30 p.m., Metro Lt. James Mizusaki said. They found a person with a gunshot wound to the leg.
That person was taken to Sunrise Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, Mizusaki said.
There are few details, but police said that both people involved in the shooting “possibly” had weapons. No arrests have been reported, Mizusaki said.
