2 hurt in motorcycle-pickup collision

Two people were taken to a hospital after a motorcycle-pickup accident Saturday morning, Las Vegas police said.

Authorities responded to West Hacienda and Polaris avenues shortly before 10 a.m., police said.

Brian Lewis, 65, was driving a motorcycle east on Hacienda with passenger Ann Lewis, 60. Lewis did not stop at a four-way stop sign and struck the left side of a Chevorlet pickup traveling north on Polaris, Lt. James Mizusaki said.

Both of the motorcyclists were taken to University Medical Center, where Brian Lewis was reported in critical condition and Ann Lewis was reported in serious condition.
