2 killed in single-vehicle rollover on I-15 near Craig Road ID’d

The two men killed following a vehicular rollover on Interstate 15 near Craig Road Thursday night have been identified, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

Jacob Alan Varner, 22, and Darren Tongol Tomas, 24, were killed after the vehicle they were in rolled over, according to the coroner's office and the Nevada Highway Patrol. The exact cause and manner of their deaths have not yet been released.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Chelsea Stuenkel, medical crews and troopers were called to the crash at 10:08 p.m. Thursday night. After the driver lost control, the vehicle rolled onto the right shoulder of the highway and caught fire. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, Stuenkel said.
