2nd victim of double homicide identified
A second man killed in an east valley shooting last week has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
Villafana Luis Ibarria, 30, died from multiple gunshot wounds, the coroner's office said.
Before sunrise on Aug. 11, Metro was called regarding about a dozen gunshots coming from the back parking lot of the Hamptons Apartments complex, 3707 S. Nellis Blvd.
When police arrived, they found the bodies of Ibarria and Fernando Omar Avila-Estrada, 31, Metro said. Avila-Estrada died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
The city of residence for both men was not available.
One of the men appeared to have been shot while running away, and the other was lying next to a sedan.
Police have not announced a motive for the shooting or any arrests.
