8 people hurt in Northern Nevada collision

Eight people were injured in a Northern Nevada collision Saturday night.

They were all expected to survive, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

First responders were called to U.S. Highway 50 and Riverboat Road in Dayton, about 30 miles south of Reno, about 5:30 p.m., NHP trooper David Gibson said.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One was T-boned and they both overturned, Gibson said.

One person was hospitalized and transported by helicopter. The extent of that person’s injuries weren’t immediately known.
