Car on fire on I-15 near Sloan

No one was injured during a two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 near Sloan that erupted into a car fire, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 7:20 a.m. when a semi truck and passenger vehicle collided, causing the passenger car to catch fire.

The car was fully engulfed in flames, but there were no injuries, NHP said.

A left lane was briefly blocked, but crews were able to move the car off to the shoulder.
