Centennial hospital announces $9.7 million building project

Centennial Hills Hospital plans to launch a $9.7 million project this year, finishing construction of its fourth floor by adding 36 beds, the hospital announced Tuesday.
The project includes more parking and an additional elevator, according to Chief Operating Officer Ryan Moon.
The expansion is to better handle increasing demand for inpatient care, according Sajit Pullarkat, chief executive officer and hospital director.
Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Centennial Hills Hospital, at 6900 N. Durango Drive near the intersection of U.S. Highway 95 and the 215 Beltway, is owned by the Valley Health System.
