Coroner identifies man found shot to death on Saturday
The man who Las Vegas police said might have accidentally shot himself dead at a northwest apartment complex was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Sunday.
Officers found Joseph Rimmer, 22, of Las Vegas, dead at the complex in the 5800 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard, near North Jones Boulevard, about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Las Vegas police said.
The exact cause of death was not released by the coroner, but police on Saturday said that Rimmer may have accidentally shot himself, Metro spokesman officer Larry Hadfield said.
