Coroner’s office identifies woman who died on ATV outing

A 68-year-old woman who died after having a medical episode Monday on an all-terrain vehicle was identified Tuesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Sharon Cochran of Las Vegas.

The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined by the coroner's office.

Las Vegas police said that on Monday, between 2:30 and 3 p.m., they were alerted to the incident near Las Vegas Boulevard and Apex Drive.

Police said Cochran was out with her son, who was riding a separate ATV. Cochran stopped on a berm and started having a medical episode. She then fell off her vehicle.

Cochran's son unsuccessfully attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation. She died on scene.
