Silverado Steak House will offer a $75 four-course New Year’s Eve menu with a bottle of wine for each party of two and entree choices of halibut Princess, filet mignon, scaloppini of venison, chicken Chasseur, shrimp scampi or grilled lamb chops. The menu is available from 5 to 10 p.m.

Don Vito’s plans to serve a $55 four-course menu with entree choices of chicken Don Vito’s, shrimp scampi, garlic-crusted seabass, veal Marsala, osso bucco or filet mignon. For $30, guests can add a lobster tail. The menu is available from 4:30 to 11 p.m.

The Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plans to ring in the New Year with a four-course menu at Twin Creek Steakhouse from 5 to 11 p.m. Dec. 31. Golden Corral Buffet & Grill has opened a new Las Vegas Valley location Dec. 19 at 1455 S. Lamb Blvd. near East Charleston Boulevard.

The Purple Zebra, a 4,400-square-foot self-service candy and slush bar, was set to open Dec. 27 at the Flamingo, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, adjacent to The LINQ. A floor-to-ceiling display will feature a selection of 38 different novelty vessels from 16 to 100 ounces. The Hash House A Go Go location at the M Resort, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is being relocated to the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road.
