FOR GOODNESS SHAKE SHOP TO OPEN
ON GRAND CANYON DRIVE

The milkshake shop For Goodness Shake is set to open in June at 4220 S. Grand Canyon Drive, Suite 8, near West Flamingo Road and the Las Vegas Beltway.

The 1,100-square-foot shop offers healthy smoothies, shaved ice creations and milkshakes. The Create Your Own Milkshake menu allows patrons to customize their shakes by choosing a non-fat yogurt base (milk- or lactose-free) and stepping up to a blending bar with more than 40 toppings.

House shakes include Kid in a Candy Store, a chocolately mix of Snickers, M&Ms, Kit Kat and Twix.

With the purchase of each item, a donation will be made to provide a meal for a child in need through Three Square food bank.

A job fair is planned from noon to 3 p.m. June 6.

PANDA EXPRESS COLLECTING DONATIONS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY TORNADO

Panda Restaurant Group Inc. has launched a fundraising effort to assist in disaster relief for those affected by the recent Oklahoma tornado.

Panda Express locations will have in-store drop-boxes for donation collections through June 14. Panda Restaurant Group Inc. plans to match 100 percent of the proceeds, with all donations going to the American Red Cross.

Project Dinner Table has announced the remaining dates for its 2013 events.

Project Dinner Table has diners gather at a long table for a family-style meal at locations across the valley. Each month’s event showcases the cuisine of a different local chef and collects funds to help a local charity.

The next event is set for 7 p.m. June 8 at TPC Summerlin, 1700 Village Center Circle. Cuisine will be by TAO Group and the charities will be First Tee of Southern Nevada and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The remaining dates scheduled are:
