Legend has it that Archibald Stewart and Peter Skene Ogden, two legendary Las Vegans, met at this location in the 1850s and shared a meal together. A lot has changed. Breakfast is served from 7 to 11 a.m. and features bagel and lox, fried green tomato Benedict, salt and pepper hash with Brussels spouts, lemon ricotta waffle, crunchy French toast, omelets, pit-smoked Virginia ham and eggs, ranchero scramble with chorizo, and Florentine frittata with egg whites, spinach, oven-roasted tomato and whipped ricotta. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and has eggplant patty melt, lobster roll, Ogden burger with avocado aioli, Cubana sandwich, fish and chips, chicken pot pie and Dr. Pepper pot roast with sweet potatoes. Dinner is served from 4-p.m. to 1 a.m. and offers shrimp cocktail, spinach and artichoke fondue, chicken noodle soup, Ogden chop salad (roast turkey, smoked Gouda, celery, raisins, radish, walnuts, avocado, dried cranberries, creamy mustard vinaigrette), roasted salmon, rib eye, gnocchi (beef ragu, asparagus, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, herb ricotta) and pan-seared trout with sweet and sour red cabbage. Several desserts are butter brioche bread pudding with raisin rum sauce and ice cream sandwich made with chocolate chip cookies. Sandwiches begin at $8.
