Anna and Andy, the hummingbirds that inspired Linda P. Young’s “The Adventures of Anna and Andy Hummingbird,” grew up amid the mulberry trees in the author’s Centennial Hills-area backyard. She said her book, written to amuse her grandchildren, is “about the fun hummingbirds seem to have.” Born in Iowa City, the author moved to Las Vegas 20 years ago.
