Ward 6 Las Vegas City Councilman Steve Ross invites the public to a one-mile fun walk and Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs Environmental Enhancement Project ribbon cutting from 12-4 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, 9200 Tule Springs Road. The event is also the councilman's annual Spring Celebration, a free, family-friendly afternoon of amusement park rides, jump houses, crafts, games, a farmers market, community vendors, live entertainment and more. Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., plans an interdenominational Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The family-friendly event is scheduled to feature a message delivered by the Rev. Leo Wood, a dove release, a complimentary continental breakfast and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. An Eggstravaganza Celebration is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. An egg hunt, bunny petting pen, arts and crafts and live entertainment are planned. Admission is free. Ethel M Chocolates, 2 Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson, is planning a free Spring Spectacular Weekend to benefit Opportunity Village. From 1 to 5 p.m. Friday and Sunday, residents can enjoy cactus garden and chocolate factory tours, Easter Bunny photos and more. From noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, an artwalk is planned. Centennial Hills Community Center YMCA members and their families are invited to the center's annual Easter egg hunt and brunch, scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. Sunday at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive. Light snacks, egg dying, crafts and an Easter egg hunt are planned. The fee is $2 per person. Call 478-9622.

The community is welcome to an Easter egg hunt and safety fair planned for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N.
