Early morning fire destroys Kings Row bar
A fire west of the Strip on Thursday morning gutted a local bar.
Firefighters responded about 2:30 a.m. to the blaze at the Kings Row bar, at 3111 Valley View Blvd., near Desert Inn Road. A second alarm was called and it took about 45 minutes and 50 firefighters from the Clark County, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas departments to bring the fire under control.
The fire did not spread to other businesses in the strip mall because of a fire wall, authorities said.
There were no injuries. Clark County fire investigators will determine the cause of the blaze.
