Fire at Carl’s Jr. causes $100,000 in damage

A roof fire at a Carl’s Jr. fast-food restaurant early Tuesday morning has caused at least an estimated $100,000 in damage, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

At 4:45 a.m., the Carl’s Jr. at 3189 N. Rainbow Blvd. near Cheyenne Avenue caught fire in the attic. The blaze spread to the air conditioning unit on the roof, fire officials said.

The restaurant was open, but no customers were inside at the time of the incident.

Two employees inside suffered no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
