Henderson police ask for help finding clues in 2014 homicide

Henderson police have asked the public for help in finding answers about how a man died nearly a year ago.

William Milan, 77, was found lying on the kitchen floor in his Henderson residence about 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2014. Milan’s son, who found him, called 911 and performed CPR, but it was too late.

The Clark County coroner’s office ruled the death a homicide. Causes of Milan’s death included being restrained and taking the depressant gamma hydroxybutyric acid, or GHB, often called a date rape drug. Milan also died of renal failure, dehydration, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypertensive heart disease.

Anyone with information on this case can call the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4750 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
