A hiker fell Saturday afternoon at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, according to Las Vegas police.

Police received a call about 2:50 p.m. that a hiker had fallen at Ice Box Canyon, Metro officer Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.

Metro Search and Rescue assisted the hiker off the mountain, he said. The hiker was taken to Summerlin Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries.

No additional details were available.
