Juvenile court appearance canceled for man facing charges in fatal shooting
February 25, 2015 - 9:34 pm
Erich Nowsch will not be appearing in juvenile court Friday, according to a court spokeswoman.
Nowsch, 19, was arrested Thursday in connection with the shooting death of 44-year-old Tammy Meyers, which was originally characterized by the Meyers family as a road rage attack.
District Court spokeswoman Mary Ann Price said she received numerous requests from news media about the juvenile case, which is not related to Meyers’ death, but Nowsch will not be transported to court Friday.
It is likely the outstanding juvenile case will be dismissed, Price said, because Nowsch is facing serious charges as an adult.
The details of the juvenile case were not released.
