Las Vegas police seek help in locating female May murder suspect

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman they believe was involved in the May 29 killing of a Las Vegas man in the east valley.
Police released pictures of the woman and described her approximately 5 feet, 9 inches and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. She was wearing her hair in an afro tied back with a headband, wears eyeglasses and has bad teeth. She was last seen wearing a hot pink T-shirt with a black tank top underneath, black capri-style pants and black shoes. She may have injuries to her hands, police said.
Metro officers responded to the to 5800 block of Meikle Lane, to check on an apartment resident after neighbors called in that they saw blood.
When police entered, they found the body of 49-year-old William Sanford lying on the floor.
The Clark County coroner’s office listed multiple stabwounds and significant blunt force injuries to the head as the cause of death.
This is the 53rd homicide investigated in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
