Las Vegas woman arrested in D.C. for twerking on a stranger — VIDEO

It takes two to tango and, as a Las Vegas woman arrested in Washington, D.C., learned Tuesday, the same goes for twerking.

Ayanna Marie Knight, 22, of Las Vegas faces a felony sex abuse charge after she performed the sexually suggestive dance move on an apparently unwilling man at a gas station on Oct. 7, according to D.C. police.

Surveillance video released by police from the Shell station in northeast Washington, D.C., shows Knight and another woman dancing and touching the mam as he tries to back away.

Knight was arrested Tuesday after "an observant pedestrian" recognized her from the video and called police, the department wrote in a release.

Knight faces one charge of third-degree sex abuse with force and one charge of assault, according to D.C. court records. She is scheduled to appear in a D.C. court for her preliminary hearing Friday morning.

D.C. court records show Knight was arrested Oct. 23 on a prostitution charge. She posted bond in that case and a judge issued a warrant for her arrest when she failed to attend her hearing six days later.

Las Vegas court records show she was arrested on a prostitution charge in March and released in May.

Police in D.C. have not found the second woman involved in the gas station incident, the Washington Times reported.
