Man falls into Caesars Palace elevator shaft

A man was hospitalized Thursday after he fell down a Strip casino elevator shaft, Clark County fire officials reported.

The Clark County Fire Department was called just after 9 p.m. At Caesars Palace, emergency responders found that a man had fallen about 20 feet down an elevator shaft.

He was rescued and taken to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life threatening, fire officials said.
