Man found dead at homeless encampment identified

The man found dead at a homeless encampment on Thursday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Steven Edward Martin, 44, was found dead in a desert area near Lake Mead Parkway and Warm Springs Road about 7:30 p.m., according to Henderson police. He died of multiple blunt-force trauma.
Police arrested 35-year-old Amos Martinez in connection with his death. Police believe Martin was beat to death after a disagreement with Martinez.
