Man found dead Tuesday identified by Clark County coroner
The man who was shot to death late Tuesday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Las Vegas police were called to the 1000 block of North Decatur Boulevard, near West Washington Avenue, where they found Jose Martinez, 42, who had been shot multiple times.
Homicide detectives said the victim was walking along Decatur when someone in a red sports car pulled up next to him. They talked before the suspect got out of the car, shot Martinez multiple times and then drove off.
The suspect has not been identified, police said.
