Man hospitalized after North Las Vegas shooting

A man was hospitalized after being shot in North Las Vegas on Sunday night.

First responders were dispatched to the 2300 block of McCarran Street, near East Centennial Parkway and Losee Road, at 8:47 p.m.

The man who was shot was taken to University Medical Center, where his condition was described as stable, North Las Vegas police spokesman Officer Aaron Patty said.

Additional details about the man who was shot, including his age, were not available as of 10 p.m. Police did not release any other information about the shooting.

No one was in custody, and detectives were still investigating Sunday night, Patty said.
