Man injured by minivan dies from his injuries

Authorities say a 26-year-old man struck by a minivan over the weekend died of his injuries.

Clark County coroner’s officials say Las Vegas resident James Spagnoli Jr. died Sunday after the crash about 7 p.m. Saturday on Flamingo Road west of Riley Street.

Police say Spagnoli was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a 2006 Ford Freestar.

Spagnoli was taken to University Medical Center. The 33-year-old man driving the minivan was not injured.
