Man killed in ATV crash ID’d

The man who died on Sunday after an all-terrain vehicle rolled down a hill near the the Las Vegas Motor Speedway was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office Thursday.

Charles Habbon Spurgeon Lord II, 68, from Henderson, and a woman were riding a Yamaha ATV on sand dunes north of the speedway when the crash occurred about 1:40 p.m., Las Vegas police said.

Lord died at the scene and the 67-year-old woman, Nancy Perez, was seriously injured and treated at University Medical Center.
