Man sought in Strip food court robbery

Las Vegas police are looking for the public’s help identifying a man they said robbed a restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip earlier this month.

Police released surveillance images on Friday of a man they said walked into a food court located on the Las Vegas Boulevard on Aug. 3 about 8:20 p.m.

Police said the man placed an order at a restaurant, displayed a knife and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money and walked out of the food court in an unknown direction.

Police did not specify a location in their release and did not immediately respond to requests for more information, but Metro’s dispatch logs show the incident occurred at Bally’s, 3645 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

The man may be in his late teens, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 140 pounds. Police said he has brown hair, brown eyes and has a tattoo of a cross above his right temple.

He wore a red baseball cap with a dark brim and white logo, red-framed sunglasses, white short-sleeved T-shirt, dark jeans and black-and-white shoes.
