Metro asks for the public's assistance in locating a suspect connected to a November homicide near downtown.
Omar Valencia-Garcia, 32, has a warrant out for his arrest for one count of murder with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon, according to a Metro news release.
Police were called to 1024 Jessica Ave., near Charleston Boulevard and Maryland Parkway, about 2 p.m. Nov. 18 after a neighbor reported a shooting, homicide Sgt. Jon Scott said later that evening.
The neighbor heard two men arguing and "two shots fired," Scott said. The argument turned physical and during the struggle, a man was shot multiple times in the head and neck.
Officers found 61-year-old Cresencio Flores-Salas of Las Vegas dead inside the home.
The motive for this incident remains unknown and detectives are asking anyone with any information about Valencia-Garcia's whereabouts, or anyone who has had any interaction with Valencia-Garcia to contact them, the release said.
