Metro investigating east valley CVS robbery

A CVS pharmacy in the east valley has reopened after Metro said it was robbed Monday morning.

Police were called about 8:50 a.m. to the business at 2935 Hollywood Boulevard, just north of Russell Road. Initial reports were that the robber was armed.

By the time officers arrived, the robber had fled. No injuries were reported.

The store was closed while detectives investigated, police said.

It was reopen by Monday afternoon.

Police could not immediately provide more information about the robber.
