January 1, 2016 - 11:55 am
Las Vegas police arrested a total of 10 people amid New Year's Eve celebrations on the Strip and downtown, the department announced.
A Metro spokeswoman said officers had made eight arrests on the Las Vegas Strip, one of which was on a felony charge, as of 1:40 a.m. There had been two arrests on Fremont Street.
That made it a quiet year compared to New Year's Eve 2014, when police made 19 arrests on the Strip, three downtown and nine DUI arrests valleywide.
