Metro seeking man in connection to southwest Las Vegas credit union robbery
Metropolitan Police detectives are searching for a man in connection with an armed robbery at a southwest valley credit union Saturday.
A surveillance camera at the America First Credit Union at 6090 S. Durango Drive, south of the Russell Road, snapped photos of the man who appeared to rob tellers at gunpoint. The man took an "undisclosed amount" of money and ran from the scene, a release said.
He was described as a black man anywhere from 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.
