Motorist hospitalized after hitting RTC bus
A car crashed into the back of a Regional Transportation Commission bus Thursday morning, sending one person to the hospital, police said.
It happened about 11:15 a.m. in the intersection of Rancho and Vegas drives, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
The driver of the car was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit with nonlife-threatening injuries. No one on the bus was injured.
Meltzer did not know about any traffic restrictions resulting from the crash.
