Nevada inmate dies at Summerlin Hospital

A Nevada inmate died Oct. 30 from a medical condition, the Nevada Department of Corrections announced Thursday.
Denise Carlson, 58, died at Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Carlson was serving 1 to 3 years for attempted injury to other property and 2 to 5 years for DUI. She had been incarcerated with NDOC since May 22 and was serving her sentence at Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center in Las Vegas, according to Department of Corrections spokesman Brian Connett.
