North Las Vegas shooting critically injures woman
North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that left a woman wounded in critical condition Thursday night.
Department spokesman Officer Aaron Patty said the woman, whose age wasn't immediately known, was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound about 5 p.m. in the 3300 block of Bridge House, near Allen Lane and Colton Avenue.
She was taken to University Medical Center.
Police were still at the scene about 7:30 p.m. Additional information was not immediately available.
