North Las Vegas worker found dead Saturday identified

A North Las Vegas worker who died in a railcar tanker early Saturday morning was identified Sunday by the Clark County Coroner.

Stanley Thomas Wright, 47, of Las Vegas, was found by firefighters about 1 a.m. Saturday after his coworkers called to report that a man was unconscious in the tanker car.

Responding fire crews found that the atmosphere inside the empty tanker had highly volatile ethanol vapors and was unsafe.

Nevada’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration assumed the investigation.
