Over 3,000 northwest valley residents lose power

NV Energy reported Thursday night that 3,261 customers were without power in the northwest valley.

The outage, which was first reported about 9 p.m., left residents near West Lake Mead Boulevard and North Tenaya Way without electricity.

The cause and expected duration of the outage were under investigation at 9:45 p.m., according to the company’s site.
