Pedestrian killed in Henderson accident identified
The pedestrian who died Wednesday after being struck by a taxicab in Henderson has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
Olen Davis, 61, was hit by a taxicab about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after crossing Sunset Road near Marks Street outside a marked crosswalk.
The driver of the taxicab was traveling east on Sunset Road when the vehicle struck Davis. Witnesses said the driver had a green light and was driving the speed limit.
The coroner pronounced Davis dead at the scene at 8:45 p.m.
