Person hurt in central valley shooting
A person is expected to survive after being shot in the central valley Friday night, Las Vegas police said.
First responders were dispatched about 7:20 p.m. to the 3200 block of Arville Street, near the Desert Inn Road intersection, Metro Lt. Harry Demetres said.
The shooter was gone by the time officers arrived, Demetres said.
More information on the person shot or details on the shooting were not immediately available.
