Police arrest 2 linked to Summerlin shooting, robbery

Las Vegas police have arrested two people suspected in a series of violent armed robberies, the department announced Friday.
Police said Anthony Oliva, 18, and an unidentified 17-year-old shot and robbed a couple on Sept. 4 near Charleston Boulevard and Park Vista Drive in Summerlin. The couple’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
Police linked the pair to another robbery near Cheyenne Avenue and Soaring Gulls Drive three days later, police said.
Metro arrested Oliva on Wednesday and the 17-year-old Thursday. Oliva faces charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and destroying evidence.
The 17-year-0ld faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of robbery.
