Power outage affects south valley
More than 1,200 residences were without electricity in the south valley Friday afternoon following an outage, according to NV Energy.
The outage was reported about 3:30 p.m. and the cause is under investigation, the NV Energy’s website said. Power was expected to be restored at 6 p.m., but was back on shortly after 5 p.m.
The zip codes of those affected were 89119 and 89121.
