Power was restored to over 3,000 NV Energy customers Thursday after an outage in downtown Las Vegas and adjacent areas.

The outages, reported just after 8 a.m., at one point affected about 3,600 customers in the 89101 and 98104 zip codes, which extend from downtown to Pecos Road.

Power was immediately restored for over 2,000 customers and the rest came about two hours later.
