Riverside fire causes Clark County smoke advisory

The Clark County Department of Air Quality has issued a smoke advisory for Clark County through Sunday.

The smoke is wafting in from the Silver wildfire burning in Riverside County, Calif.

Where there is smoke — there are small particles and other pollutants that may “aggravate respiratory diseases,” according to the advisory.

There are not unhealthy levels of pollution, but people are advised to limit their outdoor exertion to minimize the level of particle intake and change air filters if needed.
