Shooter fires through apartment door, injures 2 people

A gang-related shooting in the southeast valley injured 2 people Monday night, according to Las Vegas police.
First responders were dispatched about 8:15 p.m. Monday to the Sportsman’s Royal Manor weekly apartment complex at 5600 Boulder Highway, near Tropicana Avenue, according to Clark County Fire Department records.
A man knocked on the door of one of the units and fired several rounds into the apartment, striking a man in the leg and a woman in the arm, Metro supervisor Lt. Dave Valenta said. Both were sent Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life-threatening.
Additional details about the people who were shot was not immediately available. The shooter had not been arrested by late Monday night, Valenta said.
