A suspicious package that Henderson police were investigating and that caused a Babies "R" Us store to evacuate turned out to be trash.
The call came in about 11:30 a.m. The package was found outside the store at 510 N. Stephanie St, near Warm Springs Road, Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said.
The Las Vegas Fire Department's bomb squad responded and Metro's ARMOR robot was used to determine the package's contents.
The package was classified as "trash," Richards said about 3:30 p.m.
Units were clearing the scene and the store should reopen within an hour, Richards said.
