Three-car accident causes traffic delays on U.S. 95

A three-vehicle car accident caused some lane closures Wednesday morning on the U.S. Highway 95 southbound near Rancho Drive.

The Nevada Highway Patrol received the call at about 6:50 a.m. The incident is blocking two inner travel lines on the freeway, but NHP is working to move the accident to the right shoulder. According to NHP spokesman, trooper Loy Hixson, it does not appear to be serious.

The HOV and right lanes are still open to traffic.
