Tuesday is last day to register for primary election

Clark County residents have until Tuesday to register to vote in the up­coming primary elections.

Only people who are registered to vote will be able to cast ballots on election day, June 10, or early voting days May 24 through June 6, Clark County officials said.

Clark County Election Department offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday to get people signed up. Residents must have a Nevada driver’s license or identification card to register.

Residents may also register to vote online until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday. Online registration can be done in English or Spanish through the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office at www.nvsos.gov. Registration may also be accessed through www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.

Registered Voters who need mailed absentee ballots must submit a mail ballot request to the Clark County Election Department by 5 p.m. on June 3, officials said.

Those who have are already registered to vote should check their voter registration information through the Registered Voter Services box on the Election Department website or call 702-455-8683.

Sample ballots will be mailed by May 23.
