Two shot at apartment complex near UNLV
Two people were shot Saturday night at an apartment complex near UNLV, Las Vegas police said.
Officers and medical crews were dispatched about 4:45 p.m. to The Enclave-University Town Center, 4801 Spencer St., near the Tropicana Avenue intersection, Clark County fire departments logs show.
Two people were wounded, one with injuries not deemed life-threatening and the other with potentially life-threatening injuries, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
They were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Meltzer said. Metro had not made any arrests as of early Saturday night.
Police remained at the gated complex until about 8:30 p.m.
The shooting hadn't turned fatal as of 9:30 p.m., Metro Lt. Kendell Bell said.
